Product Roadmap

What's live, what's coming, and where SpEd Coach is headed.

Last updated: June 2026

SpEd Coach is an active and evolving platform. This page gives a transparent view of what is currently available, what we are actively building, and what is planned for the future. We do not publish specific release dates - we publish priorities. Things move based on what founder districts need most.

Later

On the Roadmap

Planned and committed, not yet in active development.

  • State-specific compliance packs

State-by-state compliance configurations for ARD/IEP requirements, documentation standards, and reporting.

  • Advanced provider analytics

Workload visibility, service delivery trends, and provider burnout risk indicators.

  • Parent portal

Secure, limited-access view for families to access their child's records, IEP status, and service delivery summaries.

  • SOC 2 Type I certification

Formal security audit and certification for enterprise district requirements.

What We Are Not Building Right Now

To be transparent about what is deferred:

  • Full admin analytics dashboard with burnout and workload analysis

Deferred until core module workflows are stable.

  • Compensatory services calculators

    Deferred to post-launch.

  • Direct SIS integration

SpEd Coach runs alongside your SIS, not inside it. Direct integration is a long-term consideration, not a near-term build.

How Roadmap Priorities Are Determined

Founder district partners have direct input on roadmap prioritization. Monthly feedback sessions, structured surveys, and usage data all inform what we build next. If you are a current district partner, your voice matters in these decisions.

If you are evaluating SpEd Coach and want to understand how a specific feature would fit your district's needs, contact us at support@spedcoach.com.
