What AI is used for

AI features in SpEd Coach Master assist with:

  • Summarizing long documents and meeting notes.
  • Drafting workflow content such as report sections and message drafts.
  • Reviewing and reformatting user-provided text.
  • Organizing and tagging records.

What AI does not do

  • AI does not make educational decisions.
  • AI does not determine eligibility, placement, services, or accommodations.
  • AI does not provide legal, medical, or clinical advice.
  • AI does not act on behalf of a user without explicit, in-product action.

Human review is required

AI output may contain errors, omissions, or fabrications. Every AI-generated draft must be reviewed, edited, and approved by a qualified human before it is shared, signed, filed, or used to inform any decision about a student.

Organization controls

  • AI can be enabled or disabled at the organization level.
  • AI can be disabled per individual module.
  • Usage limits can be configured and are visible to administrators.
  • All AI usage is logged for organization admin review.

Data sent to AI providers

AI requests use vetted model providers. Inputs are not used to train third-party models in the configurations we use. Avoid pasting unnecessary personal identifiers into AI prompts.
